My therapeutic approach

Being trained in various areas of mental health in the UK and in India, I have developed a holistic style to therapy. Consequently my therapeutic approach is a synthesis of scientific psychotherapies from the west and eastern philosophy to help clients achieve an inner balance of mind, body, and spirit.

  • Person Centered therapy
  • Psychodynamic therapy
  • Transactional analysis
  • Attachment based therapy
  • Ego state therapy
  • Inner child therapy
  • Existential therapy
  • Trauma recovery therapy
  • Gestalt therapy
  • Cognitive behavioural therapy
  • Expressive Psychotherapy & Play therapy
  • Internal family systems

EMDR therapy

Eastern philosophy

  • Mindfulness
  • Transpersonal psychotherapy

I apply an integrative psychotherapeutic model, which means I am trained in different types of therapies. I draw from Humanistic, Cognitive and Psychodynamic modalities. I do tailor these various therapeutic methods keeping in mind the individual needs of the clients.

I am an interactive and reflective therapist. I believe therapeutic relationship is key to healing therefore I am person centred in my way of being. And this means I work in a compassionate, genuine and non judgemental manner  maintaining the ethical codes of my profession.

I draw from diverse schools of psychology as my philosophy for life and personal growth  and I help clients to cope with life’s challenges to find courage & inner balance.

I do not discriminate on the basis of religion, nationality, gender or sexual orientation. I am happy to help anyone who can work within the psychotherapeutic framework.
